"Huh... Ax+Apple.  Cool.  How do you say that and what does it mean??"

You say "Ax and Apple".
It means lots of things to us.  We see the ax as the destroyer, the hunter, the father.  We think of the apple as the creator, the gatherer, the mother.  Death and life.  Our own personal yin and yang.

"What's the difference between gold plated and gold filled jewelry?"

Since we like to think of our pieces as "everyday wear" items we have chosen gold-filled options as opposed to gold-plate on many items.  A thick sheet of karat gold has been bonded to the base metal up to 100 times thicker than gold plate.  In order for something to be considered gold-filled it must have a gold content of at least 1/20 the total weight of the piece (5%). This makes the longevity of these pieces much more significant, and price-wise gold filled is comparable to 10k gold pieces on today's market. 

"How long do I have to wait to receive my AMAZING new jewelry!?"

Domestic: USPS Shipping options will be available at check out for all orders shipped within United States. You will receive an email including tracking information when your order has shipped.  Shipping normally takes place on Thursdays but can vary depending on a million things.  We are a really small operation!!  Please take note if your item specifies a longer turn around time in the description and contact us if you have a day you need it by.  Allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. 

International: Shipping options will be available at check out for all orders shipped outside the United States.  Orders ship USPS global priority mail. This usually takes 14 business days but can take longer depending on the destination.  (note: business days do NOT include weekends or US holidays).  Unfortunately there is no tracking on international orders and we can not be held accountable for lost packages, but we would be happy to email you a copy of the customs declaration form with a USPS stamp verifying the ship date and address upon request.  Shipping with tracking is available.  If you are interested in this option please message us and we will set up payment for that service.  You are responsible for all duties/ taxes associated with getting the jewelry into your country.

"I really don’t want to pay duties on my new fabulous new bling, can you declare a lower value on my package/ declare it as a “gift”?"

Unfortunately that is against the law so we have to say no on this one.  We love you, but aren't willing to get shut down or do jail time for you.  Sorry guys.

"OMG I am in a pinch and need my Ax+Apple in less than 2 weeks!  Can you help me?"

It is possible we can get an item out to you faster, but unlikely.  You are always welcome to message us at axandappleinfo@gmail.com and ask!  If it is something we happen to have in stock we may be able to facilitate this.  But most of our necklaces are made to order so please try and allow ample time to get your goodies in hand.

"I received my jewelry and while COMPLETELY STUNNING, it just doesn’t go with my skin tone.  Can I return it?"

We accept returns or exchanges for up to two weeks after items are received.
Sale and Vintage items are final sale.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please email us at axandappleinfo@gmail.com.  Items must be unused and in original condition.  The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. In the case of a return, you will be credited in full, minus the cost of initial shipping.
Although we check all merchandise for defects and damage prior to shipment, it is the buyers’ responsibility to check the product upon arrival to make sure it is free of any defects.  Damaged goods due to buyers’ negligence will not be accepted for refund (i.e. if you leave your necklace on the floor and your cat eats it, we can’t help you).  Any return or exchange that does not meet the above criteria will be sent back to the customer.

In your return package, please include a copy of your receipt with a written reason for the return

"I have been wearing my new FAVORITE earrings everyday for 4 months and one of the chains broke.  O NO!!  Can you fix it?"

We will make reasonable repairs on items for up to 6 months after date of purchase.
To request a repair, please contact customer service department at axandappleinfo@gmail.com, and let us know when to expect your repair package.
*Due to the nature of our products, we may not be able to order certain components needed to repair older items.

"I love this necklace but I really want it on the chain that comes on that other necklace and a bit shorter.  Also, I’ve been on Etsy and seen necklaces just like it for half the price.  Can I give you $30 for it?"

We take a LOT of time and care designing our jewelry and think our designs are perfect the way they are.  Unless your specific style offers length or metal options in the description, unfortunately we cannot offer custom work at this time.

We know there is TONS of jewelry out there to choose from and we love you for choosing ours!  We use the highest quality findings and specialty chain and pour a lot of ourselves into our designs.  The prices you find on our site were meticulously calculated to make sure we can keep doing what we do and passing on what we consider very fair pricing to you for a long time to come!  So, unfortunately the answers are no.  But follow us on instagramtwittercheck in on our blog or like us on facebook and watch for coupons to get your favorite styles at a discount!!
